Back from my Australia trip liao.....quite fun n exciting trip becos this is my lst time to oz and its free n easy somemore...we r on our own to move around oz all by ourselves with the help of maps and asking the people around for directions....
28/10 - 1/11(Gold Coast)...was in gold coast for these 5 days....stayed at Chevron apartments which is about 15 mins walk to surfer paradise....took an hrs plus train from brisbane airport to gold coast, from there still need to take a bus to surfer paradise and dragging our luggage to find our apartment...shag manz!!!..finally found our place and settle down before we head out to explore the place....went to sufer paradise beach...it was nice n beautiful...beach is so clean and sand is so fine....scenery is beautiful too....happen to be a Friday where there are small tents setting up to sell stuffs like arts and crafts etc..
liuqor stores can be found everywhere and i bought carlton draught, tooheys and victoria bitter beers to try as recommend by my colleague...quite nice taste....our dinner was mostly home cooked food as our apartment was equipped with full kitchen facilities...bought chicken, fish, veg,salad..kiwi..oranges etc for our dinner....
went to carrara market and harbour town for some shopping...things were cheap there as harbour town is like a factory outlets where discount can go as low as 70%...carrara market is like a 'pasar malam' ..can find cheap things there also....casino is located at Conrad hotel..2 sty and looks grand...ganna check by security for underage...hahahaha.....
visited movie and dream world....dream world can get to ride all sort of rides..some are challenging while some are not...if ur heart can take it...u can try those if u dare....there are a mini zoo where kangaroos are free to roam around and u can take pics with them...prefer movie world more where u get to see all warner bros character and took some rides too...highly recommend Snoby Doo rides...took 3 rides all altogether...fun n exciting rides.....
1/11 - 2/11 (Brisbane)...headed off to brisbane for a 1 nite stay there...basically nothing much there...just went to queens st mall...whole stretch of shopping there.....like orchard road...walked half an hour to chinatown....but disappointed as most of the shops were not opened and few people there also...walked back to casino for jackpots....ganna checked again...wah...underage again..haha....afterwhich, wanted to have dinner but around 7plus...most shops closed liao...have to go supermarket to tabao hotel n eat...so cham rite...lucky is only for one day.....
2/11 - 7/11 (Sydney)...depart from brisbane to take domestic flight to sydney...checked in at Ibis World hotel situated near to chinatown....upon reaching, we headed to Hard Rock Cafe for our dinner..browse around the hard rock tshirt...din fancy any nice tshirts, so din bought any...
we booked our day trip to blue mountain the next day for A$55 per pax....went to see the famous 'Three Sisters', climbed all the way down to see Australia 2nd largest waterfall...Beautiful!!! worth the climb although our legs were tired after all the climbing up and down...took the world's steepest railway down to the rainforest for a walk...scary and exciting too!!!kangaroons are free to roam around and we get to take pics with them also....
Bought 2 two day unlimited bus ride namely the sydney and bondi explorer ....we get to hop on and off the bus for unlimited times for 2 days which were worth the $$$...the bus took us to all the places of interest and inside the bus...there were still explanation on each stop that we were allow to alight....headed to bondi beach at the eastern part of oz....beautiful beaches they have n cooling weather when we went there.....the bus drove along the bondi beach and other little beaches where we could see lots n lots of terrace houses situated there...all with unique design n built....went to paddington market and rocks markets too...mostly selling arts n crafts design work, hand-made accessories etc....prices were reasonable too...and of cos..how can we forgot about the chinatown....lots of chinese restaurants and shops can be found there...there is also a karaoke which is opened by taiwanese....songs were all new n updated...cost A$10 for 2 hours per pax plus one free drinks....
other places we visited were paddy markets, star city casino, sydney opera house, darling harbour, sydney fish market for fish n chips and oyster, harbour bridge, birkenhead factory outlet....
